The right part starts with the right number.
Two parts can look almost identical and still fit different equipment. A few details from your existing setup make the search much easier.
1. Start with the equipment label
Record the manufacturer name and the full equipment model. Photograph the label so you can check every letter, number and revision later. The model of the equipment and the number of an individual replacement part may be different.
2. Find the number on the part
Check the old part, its packaging or the equipment manual for a part number. Search the complete number first. If nothing appears, try the main number without a prefix or search the equipment model.
3. Check the details that matter
Compare dimensions, connection type and the manufacturer’s parts diagram. For electrical components, verify the rated voltage and the exact application in the official documentation. Similar appearance is not enough to establish fit.
4. Keep a record
Save the equipment model, confirmed part number and a photo together. The next time you need a replacement, you will have a useful starting point.
